For the 2026 Seoul Silver Grass Festival, allow time for both the visit and the descent from the park. Seoul’s announcement lists October 17–23, from 10:00 to 21:00. This guide brings together event hours and travel time for visits before the festival ends, as checked on October 21.

Festival dates through October 23

The 25th Seoul Silver Grass Festival takes place at Haneul Park. The poster gives the festival dates, while Seoul’s announcement provides details. The overall festival hours do not mean that every performance or activity runs throughout that period. Individual start and finish times need checking if you have a particular program in mind.

About 40 minutes on foot from the station

Seoul’s festival notice gives an approximate 40-minute walk from World Cup Stadium Station or Mapo-gu Office Station. It also mentions the Maengkkongi electric shuttle from the Nanjicheon Park parking area. Arriving at the station is not the same as arriving at the festival. The 40-minute figure is official guidance; your pace and conditions on site can change the time needed.

To reduce walking, it helps to check shuttle availability in each direction. Planning to take it does not establish how long you will wait. If someone in your group cannot walk for long, you can confirm the return option on site before deciding how much of the park to visit.

Packing water before setting out makes it available during the walk. When choosing a bottle, capacity, a secure lid and comfort when carrying it in a bag are useful considerations.

Evening visits and the last shuttle

The official World Cup Park page lists Route 1 between Nanjicheon Park and the Haneul Park summit as operating from 09:00 to 19:00 in October and November. The last uphill departure is 30 minutes before service ends, which means 18:30 under that schedule. These are the park’s standard published hours; any festival-day changes need checking against information on site.

The festival’s 21:00 finish does not establish that you can take the shuttle downhill then. For an evening visit, the return plan depends on downhill service availability. If it is unavailable, time is also needed to walk down and continue to the station.

If you will use your phone for directions and return transport information, it helps to check its charge before leaving. For a longer visit, a power bank with a compatible connector is an option if battery life is a concern.

To charge a phone used for maps and the journey home, the cable and phone connector need to match, as well as having suitable power-bank capacity. The 10000 mAh product below is model BPB011btBK. Cable inclusion and carrying weight are also considerations.

Return transport may differ between a short daytime visit and a stay into the evening. Once you decide how long to stay, allow for both the trip from the station and the journey back. If the shuttle is unavailable, shortening the visit is one way to conserve energy for the return walk.
