If the cash deposited after a card-point cash-out request is less than expected, start with the request records for each issuer rather than adding up the original balances again. According to the Korea Financial Telecommunications & Clearings Institute FAQ, a menu showing only eligible representative points can differ from the general point inquiry, and points may be deducted before the money reaches your account.

This is a conversion of points you already hold, not a new government payment. Using public guidance checked on October 21, 2026, this article distinguishes differences in conversion units from delays after a request.

A hypothetical ledger for two cards

Suppose one card has 2,600 representative points eligible for cash-out and another has 15,000 M Points. Adding those figures and expecting KRW 17,600 would be incorrect. Hyundai Card converts 1.5 M Points into 1 H-Coin.

The calculation is 15,000 M Points ÷ 1.5 = 10,000 H-Coin. If you request cash-out for both the 2,600 representative points that convert one-to-one into won and the converted 10,000 H-Coin, the total is KRW 12,600. This example assumes all amounts are eligible and involves no fractions or rounding.

If KRW 2,600 arrives first, the difference between the requested amount and the deposit is KRW 12,600 − KRW 2,600 = KRW 10,000. That difference alone does not mean KRW 10,000 has disappeared. Check whether the remaining request was accepted and when it is due to be processed. These figures are hypothetical, not an actual customer balance or payment record.

Conversion rates and pending deposits

Hyundai Card’s M Point conversion guide states that conversion is available with a balance of at least 100 M Points, in increments of 100 M Points. The 15,000 M Points used above meets that condition. For other balances, refer to the eligible quantity and conversion result displayed on the conversion screen.

A smaller number caused by the conversion ratio is different from money that has not yet arrived. The change from 15,000 M Points to 10,000 H-Coin reflects different units. A requested KRW 10,000 not yet appearing in your account is a processing-status issue. They may look like similar deductions, but require different checks.

KFTC explains that points may be deducted immediately once the issuer accepts a request. This prevents the same points from being used again while the deposit is being processed. Most deposits are immediate, but some issuers may take until the next business day or another applicable processing time. Check the request screen or the issuer for its current schedule.

The account and amount to check before confirming

The Financial Services Commission’s service guide covers individual credit-card and debit-card members, excluding corporate members. Eligible representative points convertible one-to-one into cash can be requested from one point. This does not mean every partner point or mile uses that rate.

When using the Credit Finance Association’s integrated card-point inquiry and account-deposit service, users authenticate their identity and give consent, select eligible points and check the receiving account. Only a valid account verified in the applicant’s own name can be used. This is not a way to receive a family member’s points into your account.

The FSC states that a request can be made once per day for each issuer, and a completed request cannot be cancelled or amended. Checking amounts before confirmation therefore matters. Review both the combined amount and each issuer’s individual request, along with the receiving account.

Records for an overdue-deposit inquiry

If the requested money has not arrived, record the issuer, request date and time, requested amount and acceptance result separately. Comparing them with actual bank deposits makes it clearer which request needs attention. Contact the relevant issuer about a request that has passed its stated processing deadline.

Do not send a fee or disclose your card password or CVC in order to receive points. The FSC warns that government and financial institutions do not request these details for a card-point deposit. Access the official address rather than following a link in a text message.

The balance displayed alone cannot establish how much cash you will receive. Start with the eligible amount expressed in the correct units, determine the request amount and reconcile each issuer’s acceptance result with the bank deposits. This is general guidance; individual eligibility and final deposits depend on your request screen and transaction records.
